Things I Want (pt 2)

So in my spare time, I apparently "window" shop online. Here are some favorites:

Clothes
1. Zombie Bunny Shirt - Could this be more meant for me?
2. Tool Sweatshirt - Since all of mine were stolen, I need to stay warm somehow! And I know, I know. Hot Topic. So sue me, it's still Tool.
3. Lace Capsleeve Dress - I am a sucker for white dresses.
4. Shrine Dress - This dress is on sale and I am in love.
5. Arzaga Boots - I know I have many pairs of black boots, but they're all different!!! Plus, I may want the brown.
6. Sloth Necklace - I may have never seen anything more cute.

Other
1. World of Warcraft Sticker - This should already be on my laptop. What am I waiting for?
2. Metalocalypse Banana Stickers - These speak for themselves.

Also, I was recently made aware that when one fails out of college, they return to middle school in level of maturity. I am now going to capitalize on this, and make a web series. I will keep you updated.

Things I Didn't Get For Christmas

Since I didn't have time to actually figure out what I wanted for Christmas before Christmas happened, I am now without many of the things that I actually wanted. And since you're obviously so interested, I'm going to share -

1. Alice in Wonderland clock
Ever since hearing the serenity of Meaghan's Beatles clock ticking at night, I've wanted one of my very own, and what better theme for me than Alice in Wonderland? The clock that I really want is $70, but I found some alternates for half the price.

2. Mushroom box
I like mushrooms. I want it. That's about it.

3. Floor Lamp
Ever since I moved my room around at school, my poor fishy has been in the dark. I need a lamp to go in between my futon and my fridge.

4. Kitler
A cat that looks like hitler. Or a cat for me to name Sir Hitler.

5. Wigs
Odd, but self explanatory.

6. DOMO
Something cuddly to hug at night.

What I Hate Most About People

These are types of people that I really can't stand, and now try to remove from my life at the first sign of any resemblances:
1. The Confident Idiot - We all know this person, that guy at the party (or that guy you dated) who was really not smarter than you but convinced that he was. This person makes up for their lack of intelligence with overbearing egocentricity. The female version is also dreadfully ignorant, but feels like she has "life experience" to make up for it.
2. The Hypocritical Liar - [ quick note, there is blood all over my hands, in little spots, and I don't know where they came from, so I'm going to wash them really fast..] This is a person who HATES lies, yet lies to you constantly, and is not a very good liar at that. It can range from stupid things, to really important things that kind of foil the friendship. These people are just irritating and pointless.
3. The Entitled - There are a lot of these at Sweet Briar, people who feel like the world is theirs. They don't understand boundaries, or the fact that there are things that do not belong to them. They have absolutely no concept of money, and when they get their own house, they will fall horribly into debt because they "deserved" that last vacation so much.
4. The One-Sided Friend - We all have these. That girl that only cares about hanging out when she has a problem or needs something. That guy that only dates you when it's convenient for him. Everyone deserves more than dealing with these people, no relationship should be one-sided.
Ok, this is all for now. I am going to make breakfast and carry on with my day WITHOUT THESE PEOPLE.

New Year's Resolutions

So I've decided to make some necessary changes in my life. The main one? Focusing on myself while still being aware enough to not be selfish. There's an important difference between making yourself the most important person in your life and ignoring the people around you. I've learned this from a particularly selfish and misguided human being. I've also decided to put my sanity before anything else, and start to meditate. A friend of mine recently stressed the importance in taking time everyday to yourself, just to process and let everything go. Really wise words, and I feel like that will definitely matter next semester.
And there is great importance also in having a friend with Valentine's Day as their birthday. You really start to understand who will always be there and figure out what matters in life. This is why, regardless of whether I start dating someone before February, I have already committed myself to spending the day with my best friend. She will always be there, and so will I.
I really can't stand people who buy glasses that they don't need. It's tacky.
I am now going to get a vanilla milkshake because when midnight hit, I was watching Pulp Fiction and have wanted a "5 dolla shake" ever since.
